Please note: We are an adult practice. As such, we schedule directly with each client. We do not schedule based upon third-party requests for many reasons.
The practice is currently paneled with Health Choice and select BCBS policies. However, our contracted role with insurance companies is being re-evaluated. When a provider accepts insurance, the provider is contracted to work for the insurance company rather than the client/patient. This negatively infringes upon client/patient care.
Dr. Whelan charges a competitive rate of $165.00, across the board, for a 45-minute session.
Depending on on your insurance provider, you may qualify for out-of-network benefits.
- We do accept HSA’s and FSA’s.
- Please inform your provider if you would desire a superbill.

In the event of a medical or psychiatric emergency, please go to your local ER or dial 911. Emergency contact information is available for established patients of Resilient Psychotherapy and Psychiatric Services, PLLC.
Referrals
Resilient Psychotherapy and Psychiatric Services can accept a limited number of clients. Please contact us to inquire whether we are accepting new clients if you are a medical or mental health professional before submitting a referral.
Our location provides significant discretion, with separate waiting areas and a private exit. Clients will only see their provider if that is what is desired.
